- Application:
This machine is a kind of equipment that takes abrasive liquid and compressed air as power and takes abrasive liquid as medium to conduct blasting process to work pieces. It can complete the following functions:
- Remove oxide skin, remnant salts and welding slag from heat-treated, welded, cast and forged work pieces, and the removing quality can be up to Sa3 class;
- Remove micro burrs and surface remnants from machined work pieces;
- Change Ra value—surface roughness of work pieces;
- Conduct pre-treatment and pre-processing to work pieces before surface plating and coating process, to improve adhesive ability of plating and coating layers;
- Conduct the surface processing of higher finish requirements for those work pieces which can’t be processed by other processing method and for those work pieces with complicated shapes;
- Improve surface physical and mechanical properties of work pieces, for example, change surface stress condition, improve lubricating condition for mating assemblies, lower noise happening during movement of mating assemblies, etc.
- Be suitable to face-lifting of used work pieces.
- Applied range of machine:
- Applied for liquid sand (shot) blasting process;
- Applied for processing of single piece and small batch of middle-and-small component.
- Properties:
- It can greatly prevent from dust pollution to environment and harm to workers’ health;
- Without installing additional ventilation / dust-removing equipment and separate sand blasting workshop, it can be installed in production line directly and thus can save production area and be advantageous to movement of work pieces;
- The working method is flexible and the process parameters can be adjustable that make the machine adaptable to surface finish requirements on various component materials and various component finish;
- The process can achieve high surface quality. With proper process parameters, the surface roughness after blasting is one class better than that before blasting;
- The after-blasting component’s surface will become harder that can improve component’s resistance to wear and fatigue strength;
- The abrasive material can be used in recycle and thus ensure the lower material loss;
- The main components have long working life and convenient to repair and maintain.
